In the upper part of the Plaza del Quinto Centenario stands the telluric Totem, a 40-foot-high sculpture made of concrete, ceramic and granite by the Puerto Rican artist Jaime Suárez as part of the commemoration of the five hundredth anniversary of the meeting of two cultures. From the Totem, you can see the imposing Castillo San Felipe del Morro, the Atlantic Ocean and the leisure that takes place in one of the most appreciated landscapes of Old San Juan.
